FYRoM's ex-Yugoslav SouthSlavs dislike the use of the term "Slav" as an Ethnic/National Identifier, they prefer the term "Macedonian" and this is where the Conflict lay.
The term "SlavMacedonian" they reject because as they say, No other Slavonic country uses the term "Slav" in their Ethnic/National name and neither are they asked to do so, but this is a lie!
1....Slovakia....could so easily be Slavakia
2....Slovenia....could so easily be Slavenia
The Slav/Slov Interchange is best explained here when Slavyanskyi would become Slovansky, Slavyan would become Slovan.
The "Slav" term Interchanged to the "Slov" term could be used legitimately as a means of resolving and therefore ending, the Ongoing, Never Ending Name Dispute between FYRoM and Greece.

Macedonia is an ancient Regional/Tribal name, used to describe a Northern Greek Hellenic people...The Macedonians both Past and Present have always been Greeks....This is an established Academic Reference Point.
Greeks simply ask that SouthSlavs should discreetly distinguish themselves from Greeks, we need this differentiation between us for Clarification purposes, a Crystal Clear distinction between Greek Macedonians and Slav/Slov Macedonians, the differences are Considerable Significant and Substantial, for example:
Todays Greeks are the Sole and Legal Modern Representatives of the Hellenic Legacy which Includes Alexander the Great and the ancient Macedonians of Antiquity. No Other modern People in the Balkans or on this Planet are closer the ancient Macedonians, than todays modern Greeks!
Show me a Scholar....an Accredited Certified Scholar who Denies the Greek Identity of Alexander the Great and the ancient Macedonians of antiquity..........
Show me a Diplomat or Politician who would go against the International Academic Fraternity.....World Academia in order to sponsor or back a Lost Cause [FYRoM].
SlavMacedonians or SlovMacedonians It's their Call....The Onus is on FYRoM to find a proper and suitable Name for Itself, a Name for all of It's disparate peoples to be Proud of!

FYRoM's revisionist rogue scholars, pseudo-historians and specialist propagandist's have turned their peoples and their country into an oddity....an anomoly amongst modern European nations.
FYRoM's perculiar singularity has invoked much discussion worldwide, amongst the most senior of global politicians and at the highest echelons of diplomatic office.
FYRoM's strangeness is largely self inflicted and stems from an obstinate insistance that it's disparate peoples be reffered to as Macedonians, they say that they have the right under U.N. charter, a universal and unalienable right to self declare as they wish, therefore they wish to be reffered to as Macedonians at the linguistic ethnic and national levels.
FYRoM's stubborness and persistence with revisionist propaganda has placed it on a collision course with the international scholarly community who have decided to band together to form a loose academic grouping in order to counter FYRoM's distortions to the established mainstream historical record.
FYRoM's use of revisionist pseudo-history has been duly noted as propaganda, it has been logged and recorded as such by global politicians at the highest levels of diplomatic office, a warning has been issued but the distortions still persist, some are home grown theories ideas and conjectures, other's emanate from Turkic sources and other's still emanate from Slavdom's rogue scholar elements outside of the SouthSlavic core!

FYRoM is also an avid end user of revisionist pseudo-history. Alternative versions of ancient history are plentiful on the web, the internet is littered with uncertified and unaccredited accounts of ancient history which FYRoM uses as reference and as a form of vindication/justification for it's obduracy.
FYRoM has tried to mollify the international community over it's use of revisionism pseudo-history and propaganda, it does this in order to appear moderate and reasonable but that is too late now, the damage has already been done, the negative effects of the name disput between FYRoM and Greece did not take into account the collateral damage and the toxic overspill which now threatens to vitiate Greco-Slavic relations.....maybe not at the political levels but certainly at the human levels, on a one to one basis there is evidence of a serious and growing infringement, the gap is getting wider and longer, to the detriment of both Greeks and Slavs!
FYRoM could be less obstinate and still be reffered to as Macedonians internally. SlavMacedonian or SlovMacedonian the two are interchangable, a precedent has been set by Slovenia and Slovakia, the Slov/Slav interchange is known about!
FYRoM could be Macedonians amongst themselves [internal usage] whilst nationally they could be Vardar Makedonija and ethnically they could be Vardariot Macedonians.
The formula to fix the name dispute exist's and it should be used to finally end this theatrical farce of a name dispute which has done Slavdom more harm than good!

The Oriental Turkish assault capture and defeat of the Byzantine city of Constantinople in 1453 and their subsequent occupation of the Balkan Peninsula, ended a civilization and a way of life which endured as a bastion of Greek thought sapience and wisdom, coupled with the organizational and administrative proficiency of Roman jurisdiction.....The Oriental Turk took the best part and the most wealthiest part of Europe and put its people to sleep for the best part of 400 years.
In that short space of time, the Oriental Turk turned the best part of Europe, the most wealthiest part of Europe into the poorest part of Europe.
The Oriental Turk took over a European population which was spiritually enlightened and knowledgable at all the levels of scholarly and academic disciplines, the Oriental Turk put these people to sleep for the best part of one half of a millenium.......his period of governance over them!
The Greeks were the first to rid themselves of the Oriental Turk, helped and assisted by the Catholic and Protestant west and Orthodox imperial Russia from the east, the modern Greeks shall remain eternally grateful to west Europe and to East Europe for the Moral and Material support which they dispersed so readily and so fainly so as to see the Greeks a free and independent people, taking up their rightful place in Europe and amongst modern Europeans once more.

The people of the Balkans are at different stages of waking up from that deep sleep the Oriental Turk instigated, 500 years ago.......some are only now finding out, who they really are and where they really came from!
The Southeastern part of Europe was the most enlightened before the Oriental Turk set foot into our part of the world........Oriental Ottoman Turkish legacy, take the best part of Europe and convert it to third world status in the short space of 500 years!
Oriental Ottoman legacy....take the best part of Europe and put it's enlightened people to sleep untill they no longer posess the academic ability to think or to learn or to have an incline for the academic persuit of knowledge.
The Oriental Turk took us down to his level, some of us have broken free and value the academic persuit of knowledge......other's have lost the will to do that, this is the Oriental Turkish legacy bestowed onto some of the peoples of southeastern Europe!

Modern Greeks shall use Intelligence and methodology in this name dispute fiasco. Greeks shall prove to the world that Macedonians have always been Greeks right from the beginning.
Human rights and the rights of modern people to self express as they wish is no longer considered viable or even appropriate in the face of strong academic arguments in favour of the rights of existing indigenous people which already use the Macedonia(n) name in the regional geographic context.
Human rights are for everyone, Greeks have rights too!
Greece has recognized historic rights over the ancient region of Macedonia...in exactly the same way that modern Israel has historic rights over the ancient regions of Samaria and Judea and modern Egypt has ancient historic rights over it's upper and lower geographic regions.
Greeks will never deny SouthSlavic peoples their rightful history and heritage in the Balkan peninsular starting from the 6th Century A.D. This is in line with the established mainstream historical record, it is an academic reference point.
Macedonians have always been Greek Hellenic People, right from the beginning, we know this because as soon as they were able to read and write, the ancient Macedonians have been expressing the Greekness in ways which are still apparent even today.
If the measure of ethnicity was a "feeling" or a "conciousness" thing, then the ancient Macedonians were deeply madly, totally and utterly passionate about their Greekness.
Modern Greeks can not allow NoN Greek people to make nonsensical claims about being more "Macedonian" than Greeks simply because they feel like it, or this is how they wish to self declare, it is their human right. This is absurd and Insulting not only to modern Greeks, but to the International academic fraternity, world academia [The world body of knowledge].
The International Community are being polite when they advise FYRoM to find a suitable name for itself....a name which will properly describe it's disparate peoples, their roots and ethno-origins.

Since the advent of the Bulgarian exarchate [1878] the southermost Slavs to Hellenism have been cruelly manipulated.....vigorously encouraged by their own kinsmen to develop "feelings" and a "conciousness" which are outside of their [Slavic] ethnic/racial cultural traditions.
This has been going on in small incremental steps for generations. Today, that manipualtion has taken root amongst the younger members of FYRoM's diaspora generations to the point where they consider themselves to be more "Macedonian" than the Greeks, even more "Macedonian" than Slav, they actually relegate their Slavic elements in order to elevate their perceived "Macedonian" elements...?
FYRoM's ex-Yugoslavs are SouthSlavs beyond a shadow of doubt. They walk like Slavs and they talk like slavs, whatever they say and do, they say and do it in the best interest of Slavdom.
Slavdoms cruel Manipulations of it's southernmost clan has taken it's toll, they have produced a population of SouthSlavs that mix and match Slavic things with Hellenic things, not knowing who they are and where they come from!

This is the first time in the recorded history of Mankind, in human evolution and the human story where one ethnic/racial group seeks to adopt in order to usurp the etrhnic/racial Identity of another!
FYRoM's ex-Yugoslav SouthSlavs want the world to recognize them by a Greek Regional/Tribal Name......They say it is their right under UN charter to self declare as they wish, which for them is "Macedonian" they say that they all share a collective consciousness and harbour deep emotional feelings for Alexander the Great and the ancient Macedonians of antiquity!
Slavdoms Cruell Manipulations of it's own Kith and Kin has presented the modern world with a problem and a legacy so unique, it is a one off, it is a first.....The first time in the recorded history of Mankind where global politicians and world scholars have banded together to politely ask FYRoM's ex-Yugoslav SouthSlavs to reconsider, in order to find a more suitable and proper name for themselves....a name that will properly describe their people their history and their true racial roots and ethno-origins, but most importantly, to choose a name for all of it's disparate peoples to be proud of, this is what the Greeks are asking for, this is what global politicians expect and this is what the world is waiting for!

How far and to what extent does FYRoM need to stretch a lie in order to revise our common and established european history for the purposes of scripting themselves in as "Macedonians" without first checking with World Academia and the international academic community.
FYRoM's ex-Yugoslav SouthSlavs are NOT Macedonian....not in the Greek sense of that word, so logic and common sense dictate that they should distinguish themselves by using a prefix/suffix in their name so as to legitimize that differentiation. We need this clarity in order to stop the confusion and the Silliness!
Alexander the Great belongs to the Greek World, part of the history and heritage of the Greeks. Macedonia(n)....this name shall stay within the Greek Domain.
SouthSlavs could use....SlovMacedonia or SlavMacedonia to distinguish and differentiate themselves from GreekMacedonians.
